Semi-Permanent Makeup

Semi-Permanent Makeup and Permanent Makeup are exactly the same and it is the technician’s personal choice as to which name they prefer to use to advertise their service.

Here at Enhancing Beauty we will be referring to this micro-pigmentation technique as Semi-Permanent Makeup. This is due to the fact that sometimes the name permanent makeup can give the impression that it lasts forever and does not need to be re touched again. This of course is not the case and even though to some degree the small implants of pigment will remain in the skin, the pigment does fade over time and will need a repeat re- touch procedure approximately every 1 to 2 years.

We love Semi-Permanent Makeup here at Enhancing Beauty and feel that it can really help to enhance individuals’ features. Having seen firsthand how this treatment has helped ladies who have undergone chemotherapy or individuals who have had self esteem issues due to for example having sparse natural eyebrows it really is a great treatment. Also from our own personal experience it can be a great time saver and can also help you to feel much better about those impromptu photos on holiday...you know the ones I mean ladies where you haven’t had time to apply any makeup at all and you get snapped!! Well we honestly don’t mind them now as we are only really missing a slick of mascara and can live with that.

It is important to note however that at Enhancing Beauty we aim to subtly enhance individual’s features and not to give any individual a ‘night out’ makeup look!

Our aim is to

  • Improve sparse, nonexistent or badly shaped eyebrows
  • Define and add subtle colour to lips
  • Define and enhance the eye area

If this too is your idea or take on Semi-Permanent Makeup then please take a look at the pages that provide more information on the individual treatments offered and if you have any further queries then please do not hesitate to contact us.
